Saludo a los White Mexicans!

It’s been a week since White Mexicans dropped. Since then there has been really positive uptake in paperback and digital form, including a three day giveaway on Amazon Kindle. Amazingly, all of the early reviews for the book have been swooning… enjoy to put a half brick of tube steak in your pants. On top of that, White Mexicans’ release also saw a spike in Lost Angeles and Bone Idol [bohn ahyd-l] which was a surprising yet welcome side effect. Contrary to what some people say reviews matter! If anyone is interested in reviewing White Mexicans please drop me a line; click here and I’ll wing one across to you.

I’m gonna be a whore and put the synopsis and love along the bottom again.

Peace,
DAVE

WHITE MEXICANS
(& Other Short Stories That All Definitely Happened*
July 13, 2015
Venice Books, CA
Too poor to escape Los Angeles, too weak to survive in it; Doug Morgan takes a job writing an Exploitation movie to pay the bills. Struggling with the pay-off between art and commerce he finds himself on the path to redemption, if he can scrape himself off rock bottom.

Half novella, half short story compilation, White Mexicans is an American tale told in the Irish yarn tradition. Populated with Louden’s usual spit and spite dialogue, off-colour humour and poetic lamentation of a world gone wrong; his third outing is a mix of fable and low-life fiction.

“Really funny.” -Nik Everleigh
“Powerful and thought provoking.” -Hugh Cron
“Bukowski’s style and to the point attitude.” -Adam West
“A witty, self-deprecating humour […] the final sentence did make me grin and wince at the same time.” -Diane Dickson
“A rare voice.” -Anthony Wobbe
“A lot of style to it and dark humour in abundance […] tackles every story subject with ferocity and without fear.” -Nik Everleigh

* The statement that all stories “definitely happened” is one used for entertainment purposes and should not be considered factual or legally binding. All too often Mr. Louden is full of shit.
